Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Comes A Time by Neil Young , UK first pressing from 1978 on Reprise K 54099. This is the version with Lotta Love as the last track on Side One, which was withdrawn on the insistance of Neil Young who wanted Peace Of Mind as the last track. Lotta Love is listed on the cover and the label, and is the last track on Side One.
The etched matrix no.s are K 54099 A1 and K 54099 B1
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with just a faint scuff to the first track of Side One and one or two very faint sleeve removal marks. None of these affect play.. The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing, spindle marks or stains.
The textured cover, printed by Garrod And Lofthouse Ltd., is in Excellent condition. There is just the start of some faint browning / ageing round the edges There are no tears, splits, writing, stains or shelf wear.
The windowless white paper inner sleeve also has faint ageing / browning.
In summary
, an excellent copy of a 34 year old record.
Comes from a smoke free home.
