from my personal collection This is a great copy of this historic record and it sounds incredible. I don't want to sell it, but I have a duplicate, so this is your chance to own a "clean" one. If I were buying this original pressing, I'd be really pleased to own this one. It's stellar.
CONDITION (Conservatively Graded, Goldmine Standards) Vinyl graded in very bright, direct sunlight: VG++/EX-. Extremely high gloss (see photo!). Side 1 a few extremely light scuffs that are not felt and do not affect the playback. Side 2 is the same but cleaner. Again, nothing affects the playback. Clean labels and sharp center holes.
Play grade: The record plays very cleanly with the faintest amount of sporadic surface noise, which will likely clear up with a deep cleaning like VPI or Nitty Gritty. The instruments are bright and clear and loud. It sounds fantastic. NO repetitive ticks, certainly NO loud pops.
Cover: VG+/VG Overall very nice, see the photos. NO splits. Some shelf wear to the bottom edge and mild wear to corners. NO ring wear, but mild spotty wear to image side. The back has a spot from an old 1956 price sticker. A small fold-over crease that occurred in production is visible in images. Some slight color fading that is common to this pressing.
Includes the original 1956 rice paper sleeve! Will also come with pictured MoFi archival sleeve.
