Note About Shipping To The U.S.
We are located in Canada, but have registered ourselves on eBay.com instead of eBay.ca because it gives us significantly better global exposure.  The problem with this is that eBay wants us to charge shipping appropriate to US, where media mail and other options make for fairly reasonable delivery costs. We tried it for a while but ended up losing money on shipping or having to cancel the orders because we couldn't afford to ship for those rates. To manage this we have set the US shipping to run a calculator based on an American location (we chose Plattsburgh as fairly close) and charging according to UPS pricing.  This avoids the cancellation issue, but can appear to the buyer to be a prohibitive shipping cost and misrepresents the shipping as being only expedited. If you give us your postal code we will see if we can offer a more reasonable option, but generally we can get a single LP by air to most places in the continental US for $11, a double $16, a few bucks less for ground. If you pay for the item and the shipping was less than you paid we will refund you the difference

Newsted (stylized as NEWST?D) was an American heavy metal band formed in October 2012, and consisting of former Metallica, Flotsam and Jetsam and Voivod bassist Jason Newsted on lead vocals and bass; drummer Jesus Mendez, Jr.; guitarist Jessie Farnsworth; and Staind guitarist Mike Mushok. The band released the four-song EP Metal (recorded before Mushok had joined) on January 8, 2013, and followed up with their full-length debut album Heavy Metal Music on August 6, 2013. Guitarist Mike Mushok says that there are no plans for the Newsted band to regroup for any further touring or recording, explaining that bassist Jason Newsted "shut down" the project in early 2014.

Jason went silent after the news broke out and was away from social media for a very long time. He eventually broke his silence in 2016 and explained his decision to shelve Newsted:

"I was trying to take on too much stuff at once. You can only do so much and make it work right. I won't call it over 'cause I did write a whole 'nother record, but it just hasn't been put together. It hasn't been recorded all the way. It's not ready for the people. That's something that's just on the backburner right now."
