Limited edition collection of classic Jazz music & photography
SIGNED & NUMBERED by Norman Granz
12.5" x 15" binder combines six 12" 78rpm records with the photography of Gjon Mili. There is also a fold-out page with a great David Stone Martin illustration. This amazing set was issued in 1949; this set is number 3504 of a signed & numbered edition of 5000.
All six records are in at least EX condition; ,most are NM and appear unplayed, and retain their full original gloss. A couple have a very slight scuff that would not be audible, otherwise pristine. The photo pages & record envelopes are excellent; intact on the spiral binding and with no tears or serious flaws. Corners are clean. Every page is present and intact. A little yellowing and aging in parts, and the original owner’s name is stamped neatly in ink on the title page in two places, are the only things to note. It has aged over time but is really in nice shape.
The binder itself has very light wear. This is a rare, beautiful & historic item of interest to all serious Jazz fans, even those that have nothing to play a 78 on!
