Norman Granz’s elaborate limited edition set THE JAZZ SCENE from 1949 was the ultimate deluxe jazz production of its time, the Rolls Royce of jazz albums. Each was numbered and signed by Granz. This is set # 539.


Please message if interested in additional photographs. Unfortunately I do not have much knowledge regarding record grading.


Interspersed with the records are 12" x 5" photos of the artists by renowned jazz photographer Gjon Mili printed on heavy paper. There are Norman Granz notes for each session and a fold out David Stone Martin drawing commissioned for the production.
