Description
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
For your consideration is a 3LP, gatefold copy of Smashing Pumpkins' Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness release from 1995 on Virgin Records/HUT Recordings. Out of print, this copy is opened and un-played. Since added to my collection, this copy has been stored upright in a non-smoking, humidity controlled environment. There are, however, obvious issues with the cover that explained below. Despite the cover's issues, the LPs are in amazing shape and are un-played.
COVER CONDITION:
The album's cover is in horrible shape. I received the album in this condition, it has not deteriorated since being in my collection. Regardless, the glue holding the gatefold together has failed, allowing the cover to unfold completely as can be seen in the photos below. Additionally, the cover has been subjected to ring wear and is VERY creased. Please see the photos below for more detail.
VINYL CONDITION:
These records are un-played; they've never seen a needle. In spite of the cover's condition, the records have survived amazingly well. They are unaffected. The three LPs are housed in PVC-lined paper sleeves, which are in excellent shape.
BOOKLET CONDITION:
The album's booklet is a victim of the bends affecting the cover's corners. Please see the photos below for more detail.
PAYMENT:
Payment is expected within three (3) days of the auction's conclusion unless communication is made within that time period and other arrangements are made. Paypal is the preferred method of payment for domestic bidders; it is mandatory for international bidders. Domestic bidders, I will gladly accept a money order or personal check with your understanding that the item will not ship until your check clears.
SHIPPING:
I'll ship anywhere in the world via USPS. This record will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard container or sandwiched between two cardboard pieces in an oversized, padded envelope.
OTHER:
I will not end any auctions early.
