Description
A mint copy of the Smashing Pumpkins seminal 1995 epic, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Named one of the top 500 albums of all-time by Rolling Stone, this is the undisputed masterpiece of one of alternative rock's great songwriters, Billy Corgan (& co...). Although I prefer Siamese Dream... :-)
I'm hoping another Pumpkins fanatic will enjoy housing this iconic LP set for awhile. Another (pricy) Siren of the vinyl world is calling my name.... I've included a 'Buy-It-Now' option in hopes that it moves quickly.
Sonically, the album is tremendous, but you already know that. There are virtually no flaws with the vinyl, gate-fold jacket, or 12 page booklet. If I had to list any, the bottom right corner of the cover is EVER so slightly dinged (barely perceptible)... 99% of records on store floors are worse. I just gave her a farewell spin and she sounds great. As you can see in the pics, the record is still very glossy. Upon request, I'll do a careful "RCA Discwash" cleaning to remove any residual dust flecks. Record will ship in the original heavy-duty 'sleeve' / wrapper.
As is captured on the UPC code, this is the Hut (UK - Virgin License) pressing from April 26, 1996 (huttlp30 / Catalog # 7243 8 41655 1 2).
