Description
l Okabayashi Nobuyasu: “Orera Ichinuketa” (URC Records – URG-4008 – 1971) (Record: Mint/ Fold out Jacket: Mint/ Obi: Mint). Comes with insert. Here you have an original copy of Japan’s counter cultural folk icon Okabayashi, who gained national fame due to his anti-war stance. This album was one of his finest efforts ever and dwells in the regions of mere folk, acid folk and psychedelia. The range of these influences is due to the superb backing band assisting him on this recording effort being the Tsunoda Hiro Group (of Jacks fame and Asakawa Maki) who provide some blistering psych guitar licks and progressive undertones to spice up Okabayashi’s folky tunes. Great psychedelic folk effort of 1971 (was released in August 1971) and quite rare these days. Highly recommended and in stunning condition, record, obi and fold out jacket are impeccable.
