LP - VARIOUS ARTISTS - "On the wave", Polydor, Spain, 1980

This is a very rare compilation that was issued to promote some of the label's then new bands. There was an even rarer variation of this release consisting of a box with 6 7" singles of some of the bands featured here, but this one is the 12" Lp version.

Side A: Heroes - "Some kind of women", 999 "Trouble", The Cure "Boys don't cry", The Chords "Maybe tomorrow", The Akrylykz "Smart boy", Siouxsie and the Banshees "Happy house"
Side B: The Invaders "Best thing I ever did (new future)", The Tunes "She's my girl", New Adventures "Come on", Magnum Bonum "Lover Boy", Purple Hearts "Jimmy", Protex "I can't cope"

This album is a must for many different kinds of collectors: The Cure and Siouxsie for the goth / dark fans; The Chords, Purple Hearts, Akrylykz and Protex for the Mod revival / Power Pop / Ska fans; 999 for the Punk collectors, etc...

Condition: Cover is EX-, with some wear and some lamination bubbles. Vinyl is VG+, with some surface marks that hardly affect playing: only non disturbing light surface noise can be heard in some slow passages. No jumps, cracks or scratches.

Attention: Shipping LP's from Spain to non-European countries isn't cheap. I only charge the actual postage rates, but due to the strength of the euro, it could still be more than what you're ready to pay. So, to avoid disappointings, please ask before bidding.
