Description
Up for auction is a super rare copy of the album "El Exigente" by Orchestra Harlow released on Fania Records in 1967. This is an original Gold Label first pressing, and yes, it is also an ultra rare MONO version of this recording. Not a cheap reissue. The famous psychedelic cover is in beautiful condition with no ring wear, rubbing or losses. No seam splits or writing anywhere. Back cover is clean with only the slightest signs of aging as you can see for yourself from the photos. This is the nicest copy of this cover I've ever seen. Grade it Near Mint (NM). The vinyl record is in really nice condition, retaining its original high gloss and shine. It does have a couple faint hairlines on both sides, a couple tiny handling marks, but they can't be felt, nor do they affect the quality of the sound. No marks around spindle holes (see photos), indicating that this copy has not been played very much. I have play tested this record--and it sounds great, with full-bodied mono sound. It plays Near Mint Minus (NM-) I'm visually grading the vinyl EX (Excellent)/EX-. Not near mint, but still in highly collectible and desirable condition. This record is approaching 50 years old, and rarely do you find a copy in as nice of condition as this one.
