Description
ORIGINAL 1969 FIRST PRESS "1841 BROADWAY" MANUFACTURER FIRST PRESS! CLUB EDITION (Atlantic Recording Corp. to RECORD CLUB OF AMERICA) King Crimson - In The Court of The Crimson King LP on vinyl record 1969, Atlantic, SD 8245
• CLUB EDITION DETAILS PRINTED AT BOTTOM OF LABEL (SEE PICS!) • 1841 Broadway first pressing! (not the later versions)!!!!!! • VINYL HAS BEEN CLEANED BY VPI MACHINE! • ENGRAVINGS: "LW" "AT"
Record: EXCELLENT NO SKIPS! NO SPINDLE WEAR AT ALL! Vinyl has incredible sheen and shows very light scuffing all around but NO HAIRLINES. There is a fair amount of surface scuffing that does not affect play much!
Jacket: VG+/VG++ NO RING WEAR. TEXTURED COVER! The color on the entire jacket looks absolutely incredible. The jacket is very thick and sturdy. Unfortunately there is a 1" split at the top seam but it is not too bad. Also, there is a 3" split at the bottom right corner The rest of the jacket totally makes up for it. Besides that there is just light edge wear. The color looks EXCELLENT on this jacket but the splits take away some of the grading points. Nice copy overall!
Item is about 45 years old, general wear is to be expected.
