Description

This is an auction for a scarce UK Blue Horizon LP - "The Biggest Thing Since Colossus.." by Otis Spann. Released in 1969 this a UK first pressing with A1 / B1 matrix numbers. The tracks were recorded in 1969 in New York. The great Chicago pianist and singer is backed by Peter Green , Danny Kirwan and John McVie from Fleetwood Mac. Green in particular is in scorching form throughout. The catalogue number is 7-63217.

The cover is in EX condition with some mild ring wear and a tiny bit of scuffing.

The vinyl is also EX. There are minimal surface marks but plays as a strong EX+.

The label looks EX+ with just some mild spindle marks.

In summary a very nice copy of a scarce album. Rather than hype i have aimed to give an accurate description.

No reserve and low starting price.
