Description

Here is a vintage record from my collection offered up for sale:A beautiful 1959 pressing, THE BIG BOPPER" aka  J.P. Richardson album "Chantilly Lace", this a vintage 1959 1st pressing with the heavy rigid vinyl, released by Mercury records MG 20402. 
This is a great album of Richardson's original penned songs with the classic and unique Big Bopper style! Outstanding songwriting! Sadly, he was killed in a plane crash ten years prior in 1959 along with Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and their young pilot.

This heavy weight record rates VG+/EX is clean and glossy, has been well cared for with only a few small light marks, has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound! The 57 year old laminated cover rates VG+/EX, has been well cared for, bright color, edges and corners have only a bit of age and are solid, no splits, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, back shows minimal wear but has small tear to slick at bottom and a couple of small light stains on back, no signatures or writing, great old cover! (see all pictures).
Will be shipped in protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover damage.
