Description

PAYPAL ONLY.  Up for auction is an original 1962 early Ardent label 45 number 103 Ole Miss Down Beats from Oxford, Mississippi doing Geraldine b/w Mister Crump.  Great early Frat rock/pre-Garage classic with soulful vocals.  Famous A-side features a bo diddley type jungle beat with jungle sounds and echoey strangeness.  Great vocals.  B-side is a great instrumental in the manner of Bill Black's Combo.  Labels are clean, but do show a slight ring wear in the white portion of the label.  Vinyl is a strong M- with sheen.  Would grade it Mint, but has two teeny tiny less than 1/32" pressing bubbles that do not affect play or sound.  I pictured them in the last two pics.  No biggee.  Excellent fidelity.  Hard to find.  May have a slight warp from storage that does not affect play. (actually most old records have this)  I bought it 25 years ago in unplayed condition and I have probably played it twice.  You won't find a nicer one.  Comes with original Ardent sleeve that shows wear and yellowing from the manufacturing glue.  Nice to have.  This title rarely shows up in this condition.  See pics and decide.  Great song.  Shipping is $4.00 domestic, and $14.50 International locations.  Payment is by Paypal only, please.  Bid with confidence, I have been selling records to collectors for over 30 years, long before eBay!  I have worked for River Records, Capital City Records, Used Kids Records, and the late Ken Stone.  Thanks for your consideration, Jeff
