Description

International Polydor 623 246/247 2 LP box set. Includes an 8 page brochure which is the same size as the box. Recorded "live" at "Fairfield Hall", Croydon, England, 1965, released in 1967. Side 1"Sounds and Forms For Woodwind Quintet-Movements 1-10 composed by Coleman and performed by Cecil James, bassoon; Sidney Fell, clarinet; Edward Walker, flute; John Burden, horn; Derek Wickens, oboe. 7 other tracks composed by Coleman and including Coleman, violin, trumpet, alto sax; David Izenzon, bass; Charles Moffett, percussion. The brochure notes are intact but have 3 fold creases.

Cover: Good+ Hinged box with some small tears and scuff marks. 3" split on the edge of box hinge. This is seen on the exterior of the box but does not result in a tear to the interior hinge itself. The box shows some general wear from handling but is intact.

Records: VG++ Visually show no wear. There are 3 or 4 extremely light surface rub marks which do not affect the sound on both records. There are a few light clicks and short crackles on Side A and Side B on Record 1. Record 2 has some similar clicks and crackles that occur irregularly. While most of the records have no noise but there is some audible noise as described even though the record appears to have been played only a few times. Audibly checked.
