Description
I have been collecting records for over 35 years, after much thought I have decided to part with some of my most treasured items and let them go to a fellow collector as the next custodian in the chain. I’ve always strived to get the best copy I could at the time.
All records have been cleaned on my Keith Monks Record Cleaning Machine and my Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine. The records have been played on my Micro Seiki RX 5000 with either a Ortofon SPU GT (Stereo) or a SoundSmith Carmen (Mono).
RE-LISTED - Please not this is a 'Transition' copy; The vinyl pressing itself is without doubt first issue, it has all the required identifying marks - as per Fredrick Cohen's - Guide to Blue Note First Pressings.

This is a rarer copy - most copies have 167 Lexingtion labels on both sides. Side 1 has a 47 west 63rd label (No inc).
The address on the back of the cover is 43 west 61st st, New York 23
The cover is not a First printing - the 1st run of cover only listed Paul Chambers. no other featured artists were listed. This is a 2nd print run with the additional artists listed - Bryd, Coltrane, Burrell, Silver, Jones.
In summary it's a 1st pressing of this record on Vinyl, with a Lexington label on side 2 and a west 63rd label on side 1. The cover is a second print run, not the the first. This record would have left the Blue Note warehouse with this 'transition' mix and match. There is a section within F.Cohen's Blue Note Book addressing 'Transition' anomalies. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
I would grade the record as EX close to NM. It is truly a life experience to listen to this record on a good system.
The sleeve I would grade to VG+.
