Description
Please read my description carefully before bidding. I will ship the item worldwide and will accept free return if it doesn't match the listing description.
This one is a mono and deep-grooved and flat-rim pressing of Paul Chambers Sextet's WHIMS OF CHAMBERS. Blue Note Records BLP-1534. This is an original issue from Blue Note Records, not a reissue version of Classic Records or Analog Production. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder, in 1956, with "RVG" and "EAR" etched on the dead wax of both sides. Address on labels: "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 WEST 63rd., NEW YORK 23".
A Flat Rim version Disc.
The cover is the 1st version framed cover with "767 Lexington" address on the back cover.
Artists are my favorite: Paul Chambers (bass), John Coltrane (tenor saxophone), Donald Byrd (trumpet), Kenny Burrell (guitar), Horace Silver (piano), Philly Joe Jones (drums).
The vinyl plays NM (almost MINT) on both sides. Play smooth with Blue Note fidelity. It looks shinny under the bright lights.
The cover is VG+ due to its split on the upper spine (around 3 inches) and upper right corner (around 2.5 inches). Please see photos.
The record is play graded. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied. And I will accept a free return. Please bid with confidence.
Shipping:
The record will ship worldwide from Bangkok, Thailand, via registered air parcel post. I will use a professional packing service to pack them secure for a long journey.
Shipping to the Americas and Europe: 20 USD. To Asia and Australia: 15 USD.
