McCartney’s Wings - 'My Love / The Mess’. R 5985
Paul McCartney & Wings (McCartney’s Wings) 1973 UK EXPORT pressing of the ’My Love / The Mess' 7” single. Released on the 23rd March 1973, it is offered here in STUNNING MINT- condition.
Released on the custom Apple label this is the very earliest 1st pressing label variation which was originally destined for export to mainland European countries in particular France. Paul McCartney and Wings were promoted there and around certain European countries as ‘McCartney’s Wings’ during this period. This is of course a label error for a UK disc. The vinyl comes housed within it’s original Wings yellow sleeve. A rare McCartney collectable in wonderful condition.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: 7YCE 21716-3 4 HAR (R crossed out) KT
Side 2: 7YCE 21717-1 4 LM KT
The vinyl is in MINT- condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT/MINT- condition. One very small white area on the a-side otherwise MINT-/MINT- condition
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
