McCartney’s Wings - 'My Love / The Mess’. R 5985

Paul McCartney (McCartney’s Wings) UK 1st EXPORT pressing of the ’My Love / The Mess' 7” single. Released on the 23rd March 1973, it is offered here in STUNNING EXCELLENT+ condition.

Released on the custom Apple label this is the very earliest 1st pressing label variation which was originally destined for export to mainland European countries in particular France. Paul McCartney and Wings were promoted there and around certain European countries as ‘McCartney’s Wings’ during this period. This is of course a label error for a UK disc. The vinyl comes housed within it’s original black sleeve. A rare McCartney collectable in wonderful condition.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: 7YCE 21716-3 3 PL KT

Side 2: 7YCE 21717-1 4 LA KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition. One very small white spec on the a-side otherwise MINT-/MINT- condition

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
