Description

You are bidding on a 10-disc set, on CD-R, that consists of the landmark 8-hour BBC Radio documentary on Paul McCartney, "McCartney on McCartney," originally broadcast in 1989. This radio series featured an all-new, extensively detailed interview with McCartney, covering his entire life up to that point.
The original broadcast has augmented with additional, appropriate music that was only released after the radio show was broadcast. (So, for example, when the discussion focuses on McCartney's first meeting with Lennon, that is interwoven with the snippet of music recorded that day at the Woolten Village Fete, which only surfaced years later.)
You also get the two-hour BBC Radio documentary "Band On The Run: The Story Of Wings."
These documentaries have never been commercially released. I recorded them myself, then carefully transferred the high-quality stereo recordings to CD-R. They appear here on color Memorex-brand CD-Rs (These are high-quality audio discs, playable on any CD player, not data-CDs with inferior-quality MP3 files.)
