PEACEPIPE 's/t' LP (Germany, Shadoks, Catalogue #029) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited Shadoks label LP edition (edition of 500 numbered copies) of legendary HEAVY GUITAR-PSYCH BLOWOUT album recorded in the late 1960s by US band Peacepipe. These album recordings remained unreleased until the Rockadelic label first issued the album as a limited edition pressing back in 1995. The Rockadelic edition did not include the tracks from Peacepipe's sole original late-'60s 45 single release, but this new limited Shadoks label LP edition includes for the first time on one complete vinyl album ALL of the tracks from the prior Rockadelic LP issue AND the tracks from the original 45. Some heavy Randy Holden vibes (see Side Two of Blue Cheer's 'New! Improved!' LP and especially Holden's own feedback/sludge opus 'Population II' LP.) MADATORY HEAVY PSYCH!

Despite being just three guys with no bass player, a dense wall of hard psychedelia is erected with moments as intense as Fraction. The opening 'Sea Of Nightmares' is one of the best heavy psych tracks ever laid down, while cool remnants of teen garage and lounge/schmaltz add to the album's underground appeal. Powerful, non-macho vocals and Jon Uzonyi's triple-tracked feedback guitars makes this blow away 20th Century Zoo, Savage Resurrection and Dragonfly, to my ears.
