STEREO. UK 1st pressing on tan REPRISE labels. RSLP 9006. (1970).
No Warners logo on labels. Album set in EX/EX condition. 136 gram vinyl.
Quite a tough one to score in any condition - certainly harder to find as a UK pressing with the RSLP 9006 code. Most were later 'Kinney' coded, circa 1971-1972. This is the very first pressing of an album which did not sell well on release.
Sleeve grades EXCELLENT (EX) condition. Intact, legible spine. Clean and solid condition with average handling and storage wear. As good as you will likely come across. There are NO rips, tears or repairs to this fragile designed sleeve. NO writing, NO sticker marks. Some laminate lift along the spine edges on either side. Some superficial laminate creases, but no laminate loss.
Vinyl grades EXCELLENT (EX) condition. I am conservative with my grading. It sounds fantastic, but there is some background noise between tracks and in quieter areas. I've been told this particular record pressing is known to have not been the best quality in terms of audio. Lovely glossy heavy vinyl and a great example of this rare UK pressed psych/blues/rock record. Debut solo album from Peter Green after leaving Fleetwood Mac. The Manalishi man is in full wah-wah mode here. Good jammin' LP with guests including Zoot Money.
