Description

TITLE :   PETER KING - omo lewa LP
LABEL / CAT # :   ORBITONE  /  OLP 010
COUNTRY / YEAR OF RELEASE :   UK  /  1976
DESCRIPTION :   Very scarce ORIGINAL PRESSING of a killer (UK-ONLY) AFRO-FUNK album
(released on the tiny ORBITONE label), from Nigerian musician PETER KING. An amazing blend of FUNK,
SOUL & AFRICAN HIGHLIFE. One of the best examples of the genre, loads of heavy tracks with no filler...
recorded well with a tight band and pressed nice and clear - unlike some of the rare, (but dubious quality) african LPs!
Includes highly sought-after track 'ajo' (with breaks!) and massive floorfiller 'afro-funk'!!  Check it out*

*(Unfortunately Divshare no longer works, so I'm unable to embed soundclips from the actual record)
Youtube clips are not my recordings, but are included for your reference..
see attached images for more details  ... ORIGINAL UK 1st PRESSING  (not a recent reissue)
CONDITION :  Vinyl:  EXCELLENT+/EX (nice clean sheen, very light superficial surface marks only)
In picture sleeve:  EXCELLENT/EX- (light edge & minor corner wear only)  see attached images

*Please wait for Invoice after auction finishes, this LP will have be sent tracked*

**Check out my other listings, lots more LPs for auction**
Buy more than one record and save on combined postage (up to 7 records at one low price! in UK - see below)

EXTRA INFO - Please Read Carefully Before Bidding:

and are from my personal collection. Graded using UK Record Collector standards as accurately as possible -
please note that most used vinyl records have a little surface noise or crackle regardless of age/condition....(check soundclip if attached).
In the unlikely event that there is a problem, delay, or for any reason you are unsatisfied with the record you receive,
please email me before leaving feedback or opening any dispute - as these can be sorted out quickly.

I Prefer payment via PAYPAL which MUST be received within 7 days.
