Description

Decided to Sell my unwanted 70's and 80's vinyl including my Public Image Collection, starting with,

PIL " METAL BOX" ON VIRGIN RECORD LABEL METAL 1.

VERY RARE ORIGINAL TRIPLE VINYL SET. VERY HIGHLY COLLECTABLE.

FIRST RELEASED IN 1979, AS A VERY LIMITED COLLECTORS SET. UK ORIGINAL PRESSING.

RECORDS HAVE FOLLOWING MATRIX NUMBERS:

METAL BOX, 1-A-2; 1-B-1; 1-C-1; 1-D-1; 1-E-1; 1-F-1..

An Excellent  Release from PIL.

All 3 Records are in excellent condition. The PIL Labels are excellent, Red and White and Black and White. Labels are very clean and show little signs of spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre holes.

The Vinyl is very clean, plays very well. The vinyl surface of the record is excellent, free of marks other than extremely light and only visible under very strong light. Overall excellent condition. 

Metal Box is tarnished with age and has traces of rust, lid is embossed with the PIL Logo. METAL 1 LOGO ON REAR OF BOX.

Record set comes complete with original Red lettered Flyer and the four plain paper dividers.

Also included is the original full page Metal Box advert from the November 24th 1979  issue of New Musical Express.  

Record will be posted in fully protective packaging.
