Description
This is a true first pressing with the EARLIEST matrix information:
XAX-3633-1 G 1 / XAX-3634-1 G 1
It has the first stamper on each side, and the rare “LET THERE ME MORE LIGHT” error on the label of the first side. This label was only seen on the first 1000 or so copies, but the stampers (G/G) place this copy among the first 3-500 copies ever pressed, making it a VERY rare record.
Please also see pictures for grading:
Overall record grading: G+
Sleeve grading: VG
The sleeve has no seam splits, and shows signs of light wear. There is a small hole punch in one of the corners, lowering the overall grade.
This record has been fully play tested:
Side 1: VG- : light crackle throughout, no skips, repeats, or large pops. The crackle eases up as you get further into the record. There is a grease stain/scratch of some sort at the very end of track A4, but it does not affect the audio on my system.
Side 2: G+ : light crackle throughout, no skips or repeats. There’s is 2 scratches through the end of track B1 and beginning of B3. These do not cause any skips on my system, however they do create audible pops as they are played through, moderately impeding the audio. The songs are still fully audible but have these tics. Track B3 sounds great.
This record would truly be a great addition to any collection, considering its extreme rarity. The condition is somewhat unfortunate, but it is fully listenable with no skips. Feel free to reach out for any other questions!
