This is a UK press of ‘Animals' by Pink Floyd. This press is RARE because it is a CONTRACT press. If you take a look at the label, this is not the standard centre. There are two rings, not the usual single ring. It comes complete with the original card lyric inner sleeve and heavy card gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a superb gloss, there is no whitening of the grooves or sign of heavy play, just a couple of light wispy hairlines on both sides. The label is also Excellent - bold colours, vivid blue and only light spindle wear.
On playing there is just the occasional light background noise, but this does not spoil the enjoyment of the album. The sound is bold, vibrant and clear, with Excellent clarity and separation throughout. The record is complete with the black inner sleeve in Very Good condition. The sleeve has one edge split but it otherwise extremely solid and bright.
The sealed edge Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is bold and the colours are vivid. The inside still looks superb. There is just a little light edge wear. The whole sleeve is very solid and the spine is extremely firm with sharp text.
