This psych classic sold barely anything as a UK 1st Press (stereo) and had a very, very small run before being reissued on the black and white EMI label. This album is SURELY one of the best of all time. It has to be the best psychedelia i've ever heard. If you've never listened to it before, it's guaranteed to blow your mind!!! It certainly showed me just what sort of things are possible with sound. As you probably know, this original Blue & Black Harvest 1973 UK 1st Press is impossibly rare, even more so considering worldwide Pink Floyd collectors have snapped up most of them - so when one hits the market, it really is a moment to behold!!!

Tracklist : Speak to me – breath – on the run – time – the great gig in the sky – money – us and them – any colour you like  brain damage eclipse

About : Ultra Rare Original 1973 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! If you like good music, bid now!!!

The LP :

Labels :

Classic UK 1st Press blue & black  labels!!! Both sides are FA Harvest FANTASTIC with minimal signs of age, NO writing, NO stains, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks from general light use over the years!!! AWESOME for a 40 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as ex++!!!

Record : Visual -

Spectacular Original 1973 UK A2 B2 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, and shiny with fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks OK with NO really excessively nasty marks, NO deep scratches that ruin playback, and NO viscious scuffs either!!! It just has quite a bit of general age wear such as a few of the usual light, wispy sleeve traces, some feelable but still fairly light and tiny scratches, and a few mild hairlines (only visible in angled light) mostly from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years. Of course, none of these blemishes interfere with play too much thanks to the quality deeply pressed 1st issue, and they CERTAINLY don't effect the smoothness of it's playing!!! Well used and not looked after very well, but still GREAT for a record of this age and rarity!!! And thankfully, it sounds AWESOME!!! Must grade overall visually at least as EX = minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original UK 1973 BLUE 1st press G&L sleeve !!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT too bad at all, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO really bad marks AT ALL, and still strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few signs of ageing such as creasing and ringwear, the very beginnings of a split at the bottom and a few tiny little nicks to the top seam, some minor ageing to the unlaminated back such as a date written on the top left and just some very vague touches of staining (truly mild - absolutely NO nasty coffee cup rings ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing EVERY minor negative I can find, but despite ageing, this remains a great sleeve, and still a TRUE rarity to find one as presentable and as strong as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at the least as EX!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : An OUTSTANDING piece of history and a great playing example of this INCREDIBLY RARE classic LP!!! Near IMPOSSIBLE to find one of the first 300 in ANY condition, but UNBELIEVABLY RARE TO FIND A PRE-RELEASE FACTORY SAMPLE!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

Please take a look at all my other auctions for many other ultra rare classic LPs, and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks again for looking, it's truly appreciated!! Cheers!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
