This listing is for the extremely rare FIRST ISSUE with the SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE to the centre label.

The album that was originally released in 1973 on the EMI HARVEST label (UK) - Ref number SHVL 804

These copies were only produced for a very short period of time.  Later issues display the black Harvest 'blue outline prism' centre label design.

These early pressings display the rim text starting as 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD'.

We always strictly grade our records using the Record Collector Standard (Side A graded first))

DISC: The disc is bright, clean and glossy.  

To the naked eye and under normal daylight conditions there are no visible marks. However, when using a very bright LED light (180 Lumens) a number of very light insignificant marks are visible on both sides of the disc.

I have played both sides and on my SONY system.  It plays without fault with not discernible background noise.

COVER:  The un-laminated 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' gatefold cover (with only one side opening) is clean with some light storage wear to the edges that is commensurate with the age of the album.

There is some visible ring-wear to the reverse of the cover however it can still be considered to be an very good example.

I grade the cover as VG.

INSERTS:  This listing is supplied with both original PINK FLOYD posters (there is a minor split at one of the folds on the pyramid poster).

There are both unused 'PERMANENT' postcard size stickers (displayed in the photographs).

The inner sleeve is the original black lined inner that displays the patent numbers 1125555 and 1072844 and the 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' detail.

 'PINK FLOYD' were an English psychedelic rock band that formed during 1965.   

'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' was their eighth studio album, it was released in 1st March 1973.

David Gilmour - Lead Guitar, Vocals

Roger Waters - Bass Guitar

Nick Mason - Drums

By the time this album was released founder member Syd Barrett no longer featured.

M - Mint - In perfect/As new condition

EX - Excellent - Sleeve and vinyl is used and shows only very minor (if any) signs of wear.

VG - Very Good  - Sleeve will have obvious signs of wear/damage. Vinyl will have obvious signs of wear but will play with no major faults (although there may be some surface noise).

G - Good - Sleeve will have significant wear/damage. Vinyl will have a fair amount of surface damage however it will play with no sticks or jumps but will have significant surface noise

F - Fair - Sleeve will be badly damaged. Vinyl will have significant damage and may play with surface noise and may jump/stick etc.

+ & - may be used if an item is between standard gradings.
