Description

Hi and welcome to my auction!

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - Solid Blue Triangle Prism UK 1st Issue SHVL 804 A-2 / B-2 Vinyl Record.

Very rare early matrix numbers, collector's item.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon - Earliest UK "solid prism" labels, very rare press from 1973, "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." rim text and "MADE IN GT. BRITAIN" on labels, A-2 / B-2 nice used condition overall, no inserts.

Original very dark blue cover without posters and stickers. The right front opening of the gatefold cover is not sealed, conditions see pictures. With non-original plain white poly-lined inner sleeve.

Labels are clean and without writing etc. with some signs of being played under strong light (spiders legs), see pictures.

Side 1 has the usual slight surface hairlines from the sleeve, a very slight surface scratch that does not affect play and another small surface scratch at the beginning of the song "Speak To Me", which are both only visible under a strong bright light, see the last picture. Side 2 has the usual slight surface hairlines from the sleeve and the well known skip at the beginning of the song "Money". Overall it still has a nice shine for a 45 year old record, see pictures.

A very rare earliest 1st UK press LP in nice used condition with early matrix numbers:

SHVL 804 A-2 HP 7 / SHVL 804 B-2 LG 3

Please base your bidding solely on this description and not what it might sound/play like. Even the most visually stunning record can have background noise, if you want perfect audio without any background noise then please go for the deadly silent 30th anniversary edition SACD.

I only ship carefully packed and insured with tracking:
