Rare original 1971 uk Harvest (A-1U - B-1U) early first issue in superb clean playing condition. The thick vinyl is in beautiful barely played EX++ to NM very clean condition and both sides play and sound very near perfect. The original fully textured 'Garrod & Lofthouse' gatefold cover is in EX condition with no nasty faults and the original poly-lined Harvest advertising inner sleeve is in very good condition. _____________________________________________________________________

A-1U - B-1U 1ST PRESS VINYL = EX+

The thick 1st press vinyl has been very well cared for and looks to have been rarely played and so grades EX+. Both sides have a really excellent original sheen with just a couple of very light wispy top surface hairlines per side. There are no nasty marks, scuffs or scratches at all so there are no loud clicks or pops to be heard and also no annoying loud background crackle, this album plays and sounds superb throughout with just very tiny amounts of light static/crackle and just a few sporadic light background tics. This album has not had much play at all so there is no lessoning in the sound quality. This is just a really excellent very clean playing copy that will not disappoint in any way.

EARLY HARVEST LABELS = EX++/NM

These are the early labels with the 'Gramophone Co Ltd' rim text, later issues had the 'EMI Records' text. Both labels are in nice and clean EX+/NM condition with no faults at all, just a few short light spindle traces on each side due to very careful play.

'SOUNDWAVES ON AN EAR' FULLY TEXTURED G&L GATEFOLD SLEEVE = EX

This is the earliest 'Garrod & Lofthouse' gatefold sleeve that is fully textured inside and out, some slightly later 'Meddle' covers were textured on the outside front and back only. This fully textured gatefold was made from slightly thinner card than that of standard album jackets of the time, so it's very difficult to find this sleeve without some form of wear, this cover has no noticeable front/back or inside storage/shelf wear, but it does have some small amounts of egde and spine wear, there is a very narrow slither or wear along the top back edge and just a few very small areas of fluffy wear along the spine but all text is still clear and easy to read, all four corner tips also have tiny amounts of light rubbing. This textured gatefold cover still looks in really great condition and has no bad flaws at all.

HARVEST RECORDS ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE = VG

This original poly-lined Harvest records advertising inner sleeve grades as very good condition. It's still pretty clean but with some light age discolouration and some creasing. There are no seem/edge splits to mention.
