Description

THE PINK FLOYD / "THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN" - Columbia Mono vinyl LP, 1967.
This is a mono copy of the classic debut Pink Floyd LP. It is unusual, as the flipback sleeve and inner are obviously original 1967, yet the vinyl is the mono repress as far as I can tell. On the laminated 3-flipback sleeve there is no "File Under..." & the spine simply reads 'The Pink Floyd'. The labels have the regular "Gramophone Co. Ltd..." text and the YAX numbers (3419 & 3420) but have a yellow Columbia logo. See pics for more details...   Flipback sleeve and EMI inner are VG, vinyl is in Near Mint condition, looks unplayed. All my vinyl is shipped in a protective plastic sleeve inside a proper vinyl mailer with card protectors. Getting hard to find copies of "Piper" in mono now so don't miss out on this one and don't forget to check my other items  for more Pink Floyd and other psych vinyl...

UPDATE: A few ebayers have emailed me to confirm that this is a combination of original '67 sleeve / mono repress vinyl from 2000s. Am adding this info to avoid any confusion about when the vinyl is from, many thanks to those ebayers for letting me know... I'm no expert, just selling what's left of my old vinyl collection!
