COVER - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Original thick cardboard single type 1st issue glossy laminated 'Made In Japan' flipback (Gt. Britain style) cover with a unique extra insert with the text in Japanese and lyrics in English with the titles translated in Japanese. The cover has the 1st issue green OBI with "Odeon Records" logo, very early first OP-8229 catalog number and 2,000 Japanese yen price. Beautiful cover and obi, with only a slight crease at the top left corner of the front cover, clean without any scuffs.

LABEL - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-)  Original Odeon Records OP-8229 Stereo catalog number black 'Odeon' label with a large 'O' Odeon Records logo and "Mfd. By Toshiba Musical Industries LTD. in Japan" silver print text on the label. Very clean labels with some super light spindle wear.

VINYL - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) Original very early thick heavy weight red wax antistatic vinyl with the 1st pressing matrix numbers suffix - 1 in the trail-off wax vinyl (dead red wax) denoting the very first original Japanese stereo pressing

In 1958 in Japan, Toshiba Musical Industries, one of the two or three large manufacturers of records in Japan, began pressing colored vinyl records, with the introduction of their red, “Everclean” vinyl. This vinyl compound was created in order to be more resistant to static electricity, and was intended to help prevent records from accumulating dust. Toshiba pressed red colored vinyl records from 1958 through early 1974, though they often coexisted on the shelves with black vinyl pressings."

The record was shipped to the buyer from Tokyo with the violations of customs regulations and returned to us 1.5 months after the shipment.
