ORIGINAL UK HARVEST (SHDW 411) FIRST ISSUE (November 1979) OF PINK FLOYD'S DOUBLE LP SET "The Wall" - IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION, BARELY PLAYED AND DELIVERING STUNNING AUDIO THROUGHOUT (ON MY SYSTEM - AT A VERY, VERY LOUD VOLUME!)

BOTH RECORDS ARE HAVE SEEN VERY LITTLE PLAY (just a handful of spins at most) AND DELIVER NEAR MINT AUDIO THROUGHOUT (in my opinion, the finest audio you are ever likely find)

THE FIRST G&L GATEFOLD COVER (Cream, Non-Aligned Purple Bricks, One Single Join, No Band Credits) IS CLEAN, SHARP AND FRESH AND IS ALSO NEAR MINT
AND THE SET COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL ACETATE STICKER, WHICH IS NEAR MINT
AND THE TWO LYRIC INNER INNER SLEEVES (Thick Card, Rounded Corners, Tan Inside, 9" Thumb Notch) THESE ARE ALSO NEAR MINT

SUPERB COPY WHICH PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT - ONE OF THE FINEST I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG WHILE - MANY COPIES OF THIS LP PASS THROUGH MY HANDS ON A REGULAR BASIS BUT ARE NEVER OFFERED FOR SALE AS THEY INVARIABLY PLAY WITH EXCESSIVE CLICKING, CRACKLE AND SURFACE NOISE, SO IT'S VERY RARE INDEED TO FIND A COPY LIKE THIS WHICH PLAYS TO SUCH AN INCREDIBLY HIGH STANDARD

LABELS: The record labels are clean, bright, fresh and unmarked with barely any spindles to be seen - this copy has seen very little play
VINYL Visual: All surfaces still retain their original deep, glossy sheen and apart from some light wispy hairlines are unmarked and shine like new
VINYL Audio: Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an amazing dynamic range from the loudest crescendos to the almost silent ambient details (chirping birds, overhead planes, mumbles, whispers etc) and to find a copy of The Wall that will play in Mint condition has, in my experience, proved impossible (I have never heard one) as even Mint looking copies can still play with lots of clicks/pops and surface noise - but this copy plays beautifully throughout with a rich, sharp and detailed, crystal clear and powerful sound. It's also an impressively clean pressing (which is the most critical factor) with practically silent run-ins and with the quieter sections delivering beautifully uninterrupted audio. There are, of course, no scratches present, no groove-wear and no distortion but there are also no loud clicks or pops, which is practically unheard of for an original pressing. I will very, very critically grade the audio as NEAR MINT - but I must stress (again) that this is the finest copy I have heard in a long, long time and the closest to Mint you are ever likely to find
SLEEVE: The original gatefold cover - with just the one single join on the top edge - is clean, sharp and fresh with just the lightest discolouration to the opening edge otherwise, practically as-new with unworn edges and spine and no ring-wear - NEAR MINT
ACETATE STICKER: The sticker is clean with no creases or discolouration - NEAR MINT
INNER SLEEVES: The 2 lyric inners are also in beautiful condition with no splits to any of the edges (which is very rare for these inners) and they are both clean, fresh and unmarked - NEAR MINT (Both records are now housed - and will be posted in - new inner sleeves to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the originals during transit)
