Description
PINK FLOYD wish you were here VINYL LP + POSTCARD
SHVL 814 / A1 B3
Original UK pressing, please check the grading notes.
VINYL - has been deep cleaned on a MOTH/2 RCM, the surface is clean and free of dust, lint and fingerprints etc.
On inspection under light showing some light wispy hairline contact marks with occasional feeble hairline, nothing too frequent, excessive or breaking the surface of the record. Labels are clean without any real spindle marks - so just light cosmetic signs of previous use and handling.
The record plays through well with a strong bright sound, without skipping, stuck grooves, distortion or clipping on the higher frequencies.
I listen at loud volume to accentuate any problems.
There is a light background 'vinyl' presence throughout playback which is going to be more noticeable due to the many soft passages of music. If this were a Motorhead album for instance it would not really be of much note.
That said there is nothing overpowering even throughout the quieter sections but it does maintain a presence in these more ambient parts.
Perhaps also an occasional pop or click.
Please remember this is a used vinyl record from 1975 and not a CD or digital stream, so some limitations are to be expected.
Overall a very enjoyable example of this classic album on original format - but not recommended for those particularly fussy about such things who should be looking for a higher graded item.
It has been professionally cleaned, carefully tested, honestly described and priced a little below the market average.
VERY GOOD+
SLEEVE - the outer sleeve shows some general discolour against the white background, without major defect.
