ARTIST: PINK FLOYD

TITLE:  ATOM HEART MOTHER

YEAR: 1970 (1ST  ISSUE)

CAT NO: SHVL 781

LABEL & COLOUR  HARVEST GREEN

COUNTRY: UK

MATRIX Nos: SHVL A-1G & SHVL B-1G  (VERY FIRST PRESS ISSUE)

Vinyl Condition: EX to Nr.Mint (Looks Barely Played!)The Vinyl visually on both playing surfaces Has NO bad Scratches or Scuffs marks and looks virtually free from any other noticeable surface marks or wear/blemishes - On closer examination under a strong light it's difficult to detect any marks apart from a light mild faint hairline on side 1 and Side 2 is all clear with nothing obvious that can be seen on this superb and exceptional well cared for vinyl disc  If I'm going to be over critical and you look hard enough it only just about reveals nothing more than some insignificant very faint mild wispy inner sleeve removal traces that absolutely doesn’t affect the virtually near perfect Audio Playback - The vinyl still retains its original factory pressed look with jet black shiny deep gloss sheen and lustre - It would be very hard to improve and better this 41 year old vinyl very 1st Press!!!

AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT:  NM  SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - This vinyl visually looks like it’s only ever  been played a minimal amount of times very carefully  and appears to have No obvious marks or blemishes across the vinyl surfaces and shows NO heavy marks or scratches still looks a Stunning near Flawless example - There are No loud Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying  audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all  you may get some very very light static dust crackle for a second or two and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 41year old Classic  that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall  its just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this near Perfect Dynamic Stereo Audio performance that you would expect from a near perfect 1st pressing!!!

Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 41 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean  before play as to reduce further any light dust static crackle that is still present

Labels Condition: EX+ Being the original Harvest vibrant green labels with bold black written text are Superb being Unmarked and look near perfect with only a little evidence showing of Spindle usage marks or trails showing across either of the Labels with No wear or ink writing to be seen looks Hardly touched and it's only evident under angled halogen light of a few very faint spindle marks that are showing near the spindle hole - When ever it was played on just those odd few occasions it was done very carefully!!!

Cover Condition: .EX+ An Original Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve cover in a matt sheen finish - This cover is one of the better ones I have seen is very well preserved and amazingly well kept example that still looks Immaculate  - That's totally intact and in near perfect condition - The cover shows NO bad marks or wear with only a few light small light creases and mild storage edge and corner rub wear blemishes here and their (Not that Noticeable) - Showing to be flat crisp and clean with nice straight edges and pointed square corners and original bold and sharp vivid colours the inside of the black/white gatefold cover is also in excellent or better condition - I'm struggling to find any real defects or faults on this exceptional cover!!!

Spine Condition: EX  The spine is totally intact and near perfect - With all written text still showing to be clear bold legible and perfectly worded - With just some slight mild storage scuff/rub wear along edge and each end of the spine tips (not really noticeable)

Inner Sleeve: EX The original Harvest artist Advertising sleeve of the era is still in original very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any bad handling wear over its lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other Blemishes apart from some yellow aging tinges mainly around the white edges

The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!

Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding!!!
