Demo recordings for Frank Loesser’s musical PLEASURES AND PALACES, closed out of town in 1965 before opening on Broadway. Starred Phyllis Newman, John McMartin, and Hy Hazell, directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse.

PLAY-TESTED — Album is VG+ in generic cover. Please note: there is ONE SKIP at the very start of Side 1, Band 1 that cuts off the first few words of the song. (Lowered from EX to VG+ due to this). Rest of the album plays clearly, with little crackling in background. Even with this minor defect, record is EXTREMELY RARE and highly prized by collectors in its original form! Songs performed by studio singers, NOT original cast members.
