Description

Up for bids is this extremely rare LP record of the very first album released by Paul Revere & The Raiders. "Like Long Hair" was released in 1961 on the Gardena label. The title track was a No. 38 hit on the billboard charts in April, 1961. This particular copy was purchased at auction in 1986 and was still sealed at that time. It has since been played very sparingly on a high-quality, properly adjusted turntable. It truly is in near-mint condition. The cover looks like new. In the late '80s, I took this LP to a Raiders show in Stone Mountain, GA. Paul Revere kindly signed the back of the record jacket, and commented on the excellent condition it was in. If you are a record collector, Paul Revere & The Raiders fan or anyone who understands and appreciates historic rock 'n' roll memorabilia, you would love to have this particular piece of vinyl in your collection.
