Philips 835 281-5 Beethoven Arrau 5LP HI FI stereo luxe
Philips 835 281-85 hi-fi stereo on box. first pressing maroon labels (no hifi labels exist for these high numbers) made in holland. Rare de luxe first edition of Beethoven 5 piano concertos. Claudio Arrau, piano. Concertgebouw orchestra amsterdam, Bernard Haitink.
Philips made this edition for the Netherlands. The concertos are pressed on 5 seperate lp's, one lp per concerto. In my opinion, these recordings are very natural representation of the actual sound in the Concertgebouw. The set includes an extensive book about Beethoven and his time.
Please not this is a heavy set, above 2 kg!

Grading:
- M: never used. I don't use this grade unless the record is sealed
- NM: No visible or audible faults
- EX: Record has clearly been used, but has no major audible faults, some non sounding marks possible, maybe some dirt or light surface noise (especially on older mono record, surface noise is quite normal).
- VG: Light audible faults, ticks or surface noise
- G: scratches, etc. I don't sell record in this condition, unless they are very special and collectible.
