1971 Pink Vinyl ...Polydor 2383-045 A1/B1
An Original copy of the Pink Fairies Never Neverland on Pink Vinyl. Reputedly there were only around a 100 copies of this Pink Vinyl pressed. It was apparently a “Test Pressing” for the Hendrix Album the Cry of Love. This is my personal copy which I've had for around 30 years (I'm keeping an 3D Black Vinyl copy). There were varying shades of Pink pressed and I'm guessing they kept remixing the dye until they got the desired colour! This copy is complete with the Inner Sleeve stating “Fairies on This Pink Plastic Disc...”.
The Vinyl has been Play Tested and plays through without any Clicks, Skips or Jumps, but there is background Noise/Crackle throughout (poor quality Vinyl!!), not too overwhelming but nonetheless still there. It may benefit from a Pro clean!
Outer “3D” Sleeve … the Outer Sleeve is in good all round condition, with a small 1 inch split on the bottom opening edge, otherwise OK, Overall Vg+
Cardboard Sleeve … the Sleeve which opens out is in good all round condition, with No writing or Marks, there is very light edge and corner wear and light creasing, Overall Ex
Inner Sleeve … As said the Poly lined Original Inner has been adjusted from the Black Vinyl to reflect the Pink Vinyl. The Inner has light wear and the are light stains on the reverse ( See Photos). The Inner does not have any seam splits. Overall Vg
