Description

An original 1st press of Animals on custom Harvest labels. Matrix A2/B2 - very 1st cut. Highly sought of - we have a slight mismatch in condition...vinyl is superb and cover not quite there. Might be a staggered upgrade route for someone? The vinyl comes housed in an original cover ....and the bespoke inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great shape and has only seen lightest careful use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELENT level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. . Very delicate audio you're gonna need a clean decent copy to stand half a chance of revealing this fantastic audio to full effect. The audio is just superb. Not quite high enough for consistent top level grading - but really very nice for large parts. Expect a few crackles in one of the super fussy passages per side. Nothing nasty - it just won't be fully clean throughout - that's all. I detected a couple of ticks in a couple of spots on side 1, and again side 2. No major problem. Providing you are not really fussy - this level of playback should be very appealing.
Cover (VG) Perfectly acceptable but not top of the line condition. Surfaces are pretty good - but there is a fair bit of edge wear.
This is why I suggest it might well be of interest to someone prepared to upgrade at a  later date. Only detractor - a reasonable amount of wear on the spine . ... Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
INNER (Ex-) Very nice. One two inch bottom edge split - internally repaired.
