An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/3. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original heavy-card wide-spine cover. Also included is the original heavy-card lyric inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A top-level performer with little to find fault with. Thes original 1st issue sound absolutely fab - you just can't quite imagine any other getting even close! Interference is borderline non-existent. The only thing I could make out was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots on side 1. That's your lot! It's a very clean and impressive rendition. Would be hard to equal let alone better.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow, these original Animals covers are a real pain to find in top-level condition. Very prone to surface wear they were. This example looks superbly preserved - it's not often you see them quite this clean and crisp looking. Lovely clean front with barely any creasing and pretty much no surface wear at all. The rear is almost as good with just one tiny amount of wear in the top sector [very very minor]. The interior looks great - no issues whatsoever. Edge wear is very light for this title with just a touch along the top edge, and the openings remain nice and sharp. The spine is lovely condition - well above average with little wear and all text legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat. A very impressive specimen indeed.
Inner (Ex-) In great shape with just a one inch side split - no big deal.
