An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/3. The heavy set vinyl [very heavy for 1977] comes housed in a Garrod & Lofthouse cover with wide-spine. Also included is the thick-card lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Beautiful condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. It really is a fantastic rendition from start to finish - very hard to even find fault. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. With PF you really need a super-clean copy to do it maximum justice - and this is THAT COPY. The audio just floats out of the speakers totally unhindered. We could barely detect any interference. Perhaps a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - very little at all.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In fantastic and these covers are a serious pain to find in top condition. Believe me when I say that most examples will look nowhere near as fine and as crisp as this example. Lovely clean front and back with only super-light handling in a couple of spots. The interior is in great condition - no issues at all. Edge wear is very very light for this title. The spine is getting close on perfect and that really is a big ask on this title. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity...good luck finding anything beyond this...
Inner (Ex) Great condition. No splits. One tiny patch of wear for one inch on one side edge. But it doesn't appear to have worn through.
