Description

An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A3/B5. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, this copy is 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super shape  and has clearly seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a few crackles in a few isolated sections...e.g.  toward the end of the track 'Pigs' on side 2. Other than that we are talking a very very clean copy which allows the music to flow freely and unhindered. Animals is an absolute classic and this rendition really does the album full justice.
Cover (Ex) Very very nice condition. Might grade higher but for a very light thin line which is just visible toward the top of the front. These Animal covers are famously difficult to find in decent condition - they nearly always have wear around the sides and the surface. This copy is clearly a cut above the rest. Lovely bold covers with minimal handling wear. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is very light and just look at the spine - fully intact..and that's unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a very fine example.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Very light handling.
