Description

An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2U/4U. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros an inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. And you're really going to need this on a PF release like this. Much of the feeling in the music is derived from the mood and ambience delivered. Interference will get in the way of this and detract from the experience. But a really nice clean copy, like this one, takes you to a different level and you can finally fully appreciate this masterpiece. All I could make out were a few low-level static crackles in a couple of spots per side..all minor. It's a very clean player, and consistently clean. I can most certainly recommend this copy wholeheartedly.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Very nice and clean front and rear with just a couple of minuscule nicks. Also worth mentioning the cover lies really nice and flat and the openings are still nice and sharp. The interior looks fab with no issues at all. There's some light edge wear to the top and bottom leading edges, but it's pretty minor. The spine is still nice and square with very little wear. The text all still perfectly legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. An impressive example.
Inner (Vg+) One two inch edge split. Otherwise pretty good.
