Original 1st US pressing of Pink Floyd's 10th studio album "Animals" released in February, 1977 in a factory sealed condition. Original 1st print heavy cardboard gatefold cover without the bar code on the back. Iconic cover design with the image of the Battersea Power Station and a pig in the air. The front cover contains the original 1st print blue (NOT dark blue as seen on the second pressing) rectangular 4” x 2 ¾” "Pink Floyd Animals 34474" title hype sticker with the catalog number affixed to the shrink wrap in the upper right-hand corner. Heavy cardboard inner sleeve with the lyrics on both sides. The printed lyrics for the sixth line of the ending refrain of the song “Dogs” is "Who was given a seat in the stand," which is different than what is sung on the album. Columbia Records 1st print picture labels with a wet dog on Side 1 and a pig and a sheep on Side 2. This factory sealed copy comes with an original “Pink Floyd Animals” North American Tour booklet with a photo of the pig event at the Battersea Power Station on the front and back cover. The band was on tour in North America from April to July, 1977. Heavy glossy paper booklet measures 13” x 9 ⅝” featuring twenty-eight color and b&w photos as well as the names of the band members under their respective photos. The program produced, published and distributed by Brockum Intl., N.Y.

The album is in great vintage Mint condition with the fully intact shrink wrap containing an original breathe hole on the front cover. All of the four corners are sharp. The shrink wrap is fully intact only containing some very light age shelf wear. The original program is in great vintage condition only having some light signs of use and shelf wear.

However, if your order exceeds the amount of $5000, we’ll have to ship the package with FedEx as oppose to USPS.
