Description

An original 3rd press of Atom Heart Mother on UK Harvest from the mid-70's. Matrix A6/B6. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original EMI inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a touch of light static briefly in a couple of tracks [e.g. Track 1 side 2] - and even this is very minor. Playback on the whole is very clean and that gives the audio room to breath. A very fine rendition.
Cover (Ex) In beautiful shape and AHM is a difficult one to find like this. Lovely clean and unmarked/unaged surfaces back and front. No creases at all really - the only thing is a tiny mark on the middle cow on the rear. The interior is immaculate, but for a small patch of wear on the spine. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
