ABOUT THE PINK FLOYD RECORDS:  For sale is a good selection of Pink Floyd records of varying quality.  The vinyl gradings range from VG to EX+.  Although some of the vinyl does have surface marks the overall playback quality is excellent for all the records with some light crackle or clicks in places (no heavy prolonged scratches), mostly audible on the quiet parts.

This is an original early press of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side Of The Moon' on the Harvest label from 1973.  The LP comes in a gatefold cover.  The cover is still in very good condition with hardly any sign of creasing but does have light scuffing to the black of the cover and some light cellotape removal marks.  The labels are excellent with signs of spindle wear.  The vinyl is very good+ (overall), really bright and clean with some light/medium surface/sleeve removal marks.  Playback is still superb with virtually no surface noise except for light crackle in quiet parts.

Album notes:
Rare original early press release on Harvest records (SHVL 804) from 1973
Gatefold cover
Heavier weight vinyl than later mass pressings
Playback is superb with virtually no surface noise except some light crackle in places

Album Cover notes:
Front and back covers are still in very good condition, some light creasing, scuffing, light cellotape mark down spine edge (see photos)
No writing on cover or labels
Light scuffing on edges of cover
Light scuffing to spine

Vinyl grading:
Side 1: VG (light/medium surface/sleeve removal marks)
Side 2: EX (light surface/sleeve removal marks)

Matrix numbers (and runout groove markings):
Side 1: SHVL 804 A-3
Side 2: SHVL 804 B-3

Vinyl notes:
Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

A-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

B-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

In general the vinyl is in very good+ condition (overall).  It looks very clean, bright with some light/medium surface/sleeve removal marks.  Virtually no surface noise except for some light crackle in places.  Excellent playback.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.

If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.
