Description

An original DSOTM copy from late 1973 - most likely autumn 1973. Matrix A3/B3 - just one iteration from those solid blue triangle copies. Stampers 1-RHT/2-PD. Note importantly - the labels mention 'Gramophone'. This copy is no more than 6 months from the very 1st copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the left hand opening glued shut [which creates a nice sturdy opening panel]. We also have an original mid-70's EMI inner.  There's also both posters and both stickers. Effectively, you're about 99% complete [as close as damn it!]
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing troublesome though.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals playback up around NEAR EXCELLENT for large parts - but not exclusively - with one deviation. By and large a lovely player - not quite clean enough to hit the top grades. Expect some low-level static/presence in some of the quieter moments. The only track where it's slightly more noticeable is in 'Us And Them'. And even then we're not talking about anything invasive - it's still very enjoyable and doesn't detract. Overall a bold and solid rendition. Not quite clean enough for the audiophile purists - but for the average enthusiast... a total blast!. Very nice indeed.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition with just some handling wear front and back and a couple of indentations. There's a bit of edge wear and it has been coloured with black ink [to mask it] - but a pretty decent job has been done. The interior looks excellent with no issues. The spine is looking good - no major wear. The openings are still sharp. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Some light ageing - no splits
Posters (Ex) Never been near a wall. Pretty much perfect.
Stickers (Ex-) A bit of light ageing. Have not been peeled.
