Description

Pink Floyd – Dark Side Of The Moon Vinyl LP Early 4th UK Pressing 1974 A5/B5. This is the 4th issue 1974 variant with a gatefold sleeve. The Labels have a non-solid blue triangle with EMI logo to the left and Harvest to the right. The two stickers are enclosed but unfortunately there are no posters. The catalogue number 1E 064 o 05249 appears on the back cover and the logos and text at the inner spread, bottom left have a blue colour. Runout matrix  is A-5/B-5. This release has "Pink Floyd Music Publ." on the middle of the labels (below the track list) which is different than other 4th issue releases which have "World Copyrights Ltd." in the same space. "World Copyrights Ltd." was used on earlier releases as well.
"Pink Floyd Music Publ." is similar to 5th release and beyond, but the stamper number for this version correspond to 4th issue (A-5/B5,)Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London between June 1972 and January 1973. I would describe the sleeve as upper end of VG/ lower end of VG+ and I would grade the stickers the same in a very good.(Please see photos as I have tried to be as accurate as I can ) The vinyl plays well and  I would grade it as VG+. The  inner sleeve is the original EMI one. This is a really nice copy of this excellent 50 year old LP. I have two copies of this 1974 release so I am selling this as a spare copy which has been stored upright with my collection.
