I'm a just a private collector (not a dealer) who has been buying jazz, blues, soul and rock records for over 40 years. To preserve my marriage I need to thin out my huge collection! Some were bought and never played. Most of my albums have only ever been played on a high end Linn deck with a very top end cartridge. Like most older people my tastes have changed over the years so I still buy albums but have nowhere to put them!! All my records will be cleaned on a professional OkkiNokki cleaning machine if there is any dust before despatch- I use only L'Art Du Son Vinyl Record Cleaning Fluid which is about the best you can get (and expensive!)
Buy with confidence. See my other items for some great condition blues, soul, jazz and rock albums. All records will be graded very conservatively. I've bought albums described as mint myself and been disappointed. If I list the vinyl as near mint it will be as near to as new condition as possible.

RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable
Good (G)
Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
